Zakynthos Zakynthos is the third largest of the Ionian Island
The terrain is varied; there are fertile plains in the southeastern part, which merge gently into peaceful bays and golden beaches while the western side of the island is mountainous with steep cliffs along its coasts.
According to a 1991 census, the island has a population of 35.000 inhabitants.

Skinari village
Skinari is located at the north part of the island. In the area there is a small, traditional village next to the sea front.The landscape creates a scenery of rocky mountains but full of Mediterranean floral. The area of Skinari village is not considered a popular touristic destination, so it keeps a folklore quiet profile. |

How to Get Here
From the town of Zakynthos, take the national road Zakynthos-Volimon or, alternatively, drive following the road signage towards the village Katastari. Having passed this village, approximately 5 km after, you will find on your right the new coastal road. This road will take you to the Port of Aghios Nikolaos of Volimon.
